Tim Weber flies the Extra 300S the way it was designed to be flown, occasionally even right side up and level. With 350 horsepower and G limits of plus and minus 10, the airplane gives Tim the capability to push it to the limit, which is exactly what he does every time he flies.
Tim is unique in that he flies to his own music. An accomplished guitarist and singer, Tim writes and records music to fly by.
Tim grew up a bicycle ride away from Turf Soaring School in Phoenix, Arizona. By the time he was 14 years old, he was trading line-boy work for flying time. Over the years he has flown a variety of airplanes form gliders and ultralights to jets. He is an Aerobatic Competency Evaluator or Ace through the ICAS program that qualifies air show performers.
