Greg flies the nimble MX-2 aerobatic monoplane. His is unique because it is powered by ethanol, and he is sponsored by Fagan, Inc., designer and builder of ethanol wind and bio-fuel production facilities

Like so many air show pilots, Greg Poe began flying at an early age, and has been doing it ever since. Greg has had an exciting a varied experience from towing banners and gliders to flying one of the most exciting and innovative aerobatic airplanes flying today.

I first met Greg at Tucumcari, where he has been a regular performer at one of the country’s best small air shows. Watching him fly was exciting.  Having the opportunity to announce for him was a thrill and an honor. Even at high altitude fields, Greg can make his airplane dance and tumble as few can.

His flying skills have landed him on multiple television shows and have provided him with the opportunity to fly a variety of airplanes from vintage warbirds to modern fighters.

His flying career has taken him to 25 countries, including a year in Saudi Arabia. He has been featured in a variety of television shows ranging from Ripley’s Believe It or Not to Discovery Channel and Fox Sports. He has been a test pilot for Ariat, Flying the Pitts and Husky airplanes.
